Biography

My name is Amy Karol and I live in Portland, Oregon with my husband and 3 beautiful daughters. We also have 2 cats, David and Lionel. Lionel is the nice one. David is not so nice and he also wishes he could wear pants.

I was an commercial interior designer in Seattle, then we moved back to Portland, had babies, and now I stay at home and write, make art, and craft like crazy.

I wrote a crafty book about sewing, Bend-the-Rules Sewing, The Essential Guide to a Whole New Way to Sew (potter craft 2007) 'cause I wanna share the crafty love, hope you like it. I am madly at work on my second book, up to no good on this blog, and have a mailorder craft club. You can check all this out at the link up there. Thanks!
