Hillary,
I can't enough of this little quilted clutch (we don't say
"pouch" do we?) How perfect for scraps and the quilted lining is so
good. just add some bias trim and some snaps, and you are done. I'm
looking at the gusset detail and I think I've got it, I think. Now, I won't feel so crazy keeping all my teeny-tiny scraps. I found it at this site here. Lots to look at.
very cute! I love the 2 snaps. those would make great xmas presents. and they're perfect for you because you're the queen of binding!

I'm with you two, the word 'pouch' sometimes has a very 'alternative' meaning over here in the u.k.

i think i might be able to pull this off too. amy there is a good tutorial on craftster if you search gusseted messanger bag, might help.
