I'm sick (candy)
It didn't rain on us! it was raining all day here and I was so afraid we'd end up at the mall or something really depressing like that, but it all worked out great! Sadie wore her cape and insisted the hood be up the whole time (amazing.)
and here's Delia as the wolf. The wolf disguised as Grandma, like in the story. But it's actually a mouse mask, but we are pretending it's wolf mask, and I think it's passable. Delia doesn't wear hats easily (she'll learn, there is no escaping my hat mania) but for some crazy reason, she really got a kick out of this granny night cap I made for her costume. It was so funny. She also raked in a ton of candy. They really give it out to the babies, huh? terrifying. We left the rest of the candy at my mom's, I got sooo sick. and I have to leave room for the pumpkin spice cake (cream cheese frosting) we made. I am gross.
The new Tie One On theme will be up tomorrow morning and I will probably get the gallery done tomorrow too . .when I'm not eating pumpkin cake.

Sooo cute! Great job on the hood!

I love the coordinating costumes, and Sadie's cape is just beautiful (as is Delia's night cap--brilliant!)! I've been looking for a cape pattern for Milly since I first saw it on your blog. Happy Halloween!

that is one scarry wolf. no wonder they gave her all those sweets... it was to fill her up so that she wouldn't munch them up.

That was the best Halloween! The candy you left was gone in less than ten minutes...and the final count was 101 treaters, but none as adorable as Red and the Wolf. And as for Grammie...she lived happily ever after.

Those are cutest costumes!! that does look like a granny mask.

happy halloween! the girls look great! the point on that cape is just awesome, and i cant believe that delia let you put on a face mask! i didnt even try with collette. i begin operation candy elimination today. you might think this involves the trash can. it doesnt, that means my tummy...

Adorable and such a great coordinating costume idea. I'm must be easily swayed by the power of suggestion. I thought the mask looked like a wolf until you pointed out it was a mouse... hehehe. Definitely passable.

Delia as the wolf in disguise has got to be the cutest/funniest visual ever.
I am jealous I don't have a grown up version of Sadie's cape!

the point + granny cap are amazing!! that basket is perfect, too. though i'm not so sure about spice + cream cheese? maybe it's all the candy talking but it sounds really gross. (speaking of...my friend had an apple crisp kit in a box on their counter the other day. i yelped when i saw it. it's definitely no apple pie.)

They are so cute! Seeing these photos makes me sad that we don't have Halloween here in Australia. I'd love an excuse to dress my nephew up.

That is absolutely precious. Love the cape. Love the basket. Love the granny wolf (and that totally looks like a wolf mask). Wonderful.

They look so sweet! And how excellent that the weather cooperated for you!

OMG Amy! My kids were Little Red Riding Hood and the wolf too! Ella had a very similar looking cape as Sadie and Tula wore this shaggy grey coat and pants set from Oilily. Too funny.
I bet people LOVED their costumes! People were going ga-ga over the girls as most of the other kids had store bought "character" costumes.
