Oh happy Friday! it's snowing here again which is lovely. And, I am thrilled that my wait is over and I can now get Denyse Schmidt's new fabrics in my hot little hands! Cia has it up ready to buy and I think it's going to be the fat-quarter pack for me, because really, I can't choose. I see kelly got some new books too, thank so much for the review, I have so curious about the Happy Hooker book. Yippee!

There is a cool looking event here in Portland called the paper doll show-which isn't about paper dolls at all (too bad) but is a local craft/art event with lots of very cool people attending and selling their wares. It's Saturday only. I hope to stop by and see Amy Tavern's jewelry in person-looks so very cool. So, if you are in Portland, you may want to check it out.
And, um, on a unrelated note, my armpits smell. yup. that's right. And I just thought I'd share with you that my whole life I have been searching for a natural deodorant that actually worked, cause, they don't really work for me, cause, you know, I really am very natural smelling, if you know what I mean. Anyhoo, for almost a year now I have been using a little hard bar (looks like soap) from Lush, and it's an underarm deodorant and I think the little piece was less than $5 and I have used it everyday for about a year and it's barely even any smaller and it works, by god-really works!! I have confirmed this with family and friends. It's really hard, so I always run it under warm water to make it softer first. I know this is too much information, but I wanted to share, just in case one of you out there is stinkin'.
