quilt monday-cute book style
This amazing patchwork book in the Gakken series (ISBN4-05-604283-7 use this in the advance search-the link is acting funny, sorry) was given to me by the generous and sweet Sally when she came over on Friday for Hannah's BBQ. It's got wonderful patchwork and small quilt projects and made me nutty all weekend. This placemat and juice glass cozy is making me super crazy right now. Labor intensive and impractical. . .sign me up!

super sweet hearts with photo transfers. . .
And this amazing felt bag. Ugh. I have to make something like this. It's too flippin' cute! Thank you for making me a crazy person, Sally!

oh this is so very very good!!!

Gosh, now we're all crazy. I've got to make that felt bag.

I love that bag! The picture itself is great too. She's so perfectly poised, even though her feet nowhere near touch the floor.

"Labor intensive and impracticable. . .sign me up!" I LOL at that comment! SO me!

The juice cup cozies, oooh. Maybe they are practical? Might they keep the glass from banging so hard on the table when a little one sets it down, and how about keeping the glass from leaving a ring. See, two practical attributes already! Definitely worth making I think.

gillian-too funny, well I meant to write "impractical" but I was too excited to type-now I look *really* crazy!

Love the juice glass cosy. Where do people find the time to come up with these ideas?
Love the bag. Yep. Want one too :)

If my project list gets any longer it will rival that of Santa's naughty and nice list. None the less I must add the felt purse to that list. And how cute is the outfit on that little girl? I can'r wait to put some tights on my Zoebear this year.

And thank you for making us crazy with you! I could see the glass cozy as also serving as a little doodad holder at your desk.

And now you show the book and make us all crazy! Thank you, it is beautiful.
