aw, man!

Pieft

Oh, my brain. This recipe card that comes with the mailorder #7 has an omission. For the topping, it doesn't state exactly how much butter to use. . .it should say 1/2 stick of butter (Which is 4 tablespoons.) Sigh. I blame the heat, this big baby in me, and my mushy brain. Deepest apologies!

Up this week in our kitchen is strawberry shortcake. I was inspired by this over at the small object and although I don't really need strawberry shortcake more than once or twice a season, I do need it. And I have this handy whip cream canister, don't you know, making several helpings in a few days that much easier. That gadget is seriously dangerous.

Oh yes, that gadget is wonderful. I used to use one at one place where I was a barista. It's truly addicting. The wonderful thing about it is that you can make whipped cream in any flavor your heart desires by adding syrup to the cream- and DaVinci makes over 100 different kinds of syrup, not to mention the sugar-free varieties- sigh-

That gadget is super-cool! Flavored whipped cream?(!).. VERY dangerous... ;)

different flavours of whip cream, caya, my goodness!!!
i made a fruit pizza this week, used my own almond butter in the crust and had dragon fruit and berry compote on top. whip cream would have been the bomb...
guess that bebe is about cooked. hurrah for getting your body back... sort of...

I think your recipe card is adorable and the missing butter amount will give it character.

I can't wait for mine to arrive. I know you are very, very busy so I appreciate you putting the mailorder together at all!! Fun. Fun. Fun.

Oh, your title gets me! Our son, now 10, was one of those "speaks in full sentences" types at 3 with very few words before that. However, he did manage to acquire, "Aw man" said like most 13 year olds would say it. Every time we heard it, usually coming from the back seat of the car whenever we passed a damaged car on the road, his father and I would just lose it in laughter. Of course, that just made the phrase all the more thrilling.

So, that has NOTHING to do with your whipped cream. But I thank you for the memory, no matter how tangential. :D

I love this super cute pie-guy!

That little cake looks so good! I make an insane 6 layer strawberry cake with whipped creame frosting. It's popular, but it takes me two days to make, so it's not particularly friendly to make. I've never seen that whipped cream gadget before! I think I want one, though!

Pregnancy brain.. it can be awful! I remember with my first pregancy devolving into tears because I couldn't tie my shoes. I could reach my feet just fine, but I couldn't remember how to tie a bow. Ya, that was a proud moment.

I have a whip cream canister. It can be very devious with its tempting ways.

Mmmm, love flavored cream.
Esp. maple! :)
