for some friends-
I made this little wool Waldorf style doll for a new friend. We are so excited to meet him! There are some great groups here and here on flickr for these types of dolls.
And some homemade vapor rub (along with Lincoln Logs) for his big brother. The vapor rub recipe is from this book and the girls really like it and so do I.

I just LOVE August's little doll!
I am looking forward to trying your vapor rub recipe, thanks for sharing!

What a lovely doll and I'd love to know what's in the homemade VicksVrub. Just saw your awesome apron over at the craftzine blog - when ya gonna do an apron book Amy?

oh. I'll have to check out that book. In "flu season" we go through vicks like crazy, so it'd be nice to have a homemade alternative.

We ordered that book last week on your advice. I'm saving it for Christmas, but I keep taking peeks myself. I love the little stories woven through it.

Hey! That cool pitcher in the background, the one with the lid -- I have the Exact Same pitcher! Yep. Only, come to think of it, I may no longer have the lid.
Anyway, great doll! Great blog! Great pitcher!

I always admire Waldorf dolls, I will have to make one one of these days. And I really need to order that book, the homemade vapor rub sounds excellent and I love your container!
