These leaves on our block.

Helpers. Delia is still wearing her Halloween Sally dress, by the way.

We forget to compost two really big leaves.

Unrelated, our conversation this morning-

pete: "I'm going to do recycling now before work."

me: "cool."

pete: I'm also going to throw away this old grilled cheese sandwich in my pocket, here."

me: "you're crazy like that."

I love the polka dot stockings. So cute!

The leaves are so beautiful...I love fall colours, we don't really have that here.

So funny...I hate to say it but it sounds like conversations with my own husband. Also---I love to mix cereals, not always, but one day I thought "Be crazy"...it was a good idea.

oh I love the fall colors! We just don't get those down here as we hardly have a fall at all! *laugh* Enjoy them for me! :D

Lovely pictures. Could their outfits be any cuter?! I think not...

Love those two little/big leaves of yours. When I was little, my mom put red heart shaped patches on the blown out knees of a pair of cords. I'm always wondering if I could still get away with wearing pants like those today.
As for the conversation: that's just life, isn't it?

Thank you thank you for the lovely shot of colour. Here, the trees are completely naked and everything is grey.

Sounds like your house is as weird as ours. Nice, isn't it?

Beautiful photos. It's Spring here in Sydney, always nice to see what the weather is doing on the other side of the world.
By the way, customized cereal mixes are big in our household!

beautiful leaves...tree kind and little girly kind.
wow.... we had 71 mph winds and rain last night...did you get any of that down your way.

You are so funny, thanks for the chuckle. And for the lovely perfect fall day pictures!

gorgeous colors. looks like you're enjoying your new camera!

Ha! That conversation cracks me up. So funny! Oh and those are some cute leaves ya got there!

Oh, good thing he found that -- my husband's still looking for a ham sandwich that went missing from his lunch bag a few weeks ago. I just hope I'm not the one who finally finds it!

Fall brings so many pretty colours...thanks for sharing...Australia has a lot of 'ever greens'

Gorgeous photo! I love the colors of fall. (Hate the weather, though...)

I reallly love your header! And those pictures, to die for. :) I wish we could experience that here where I live. I am still running my air-conditioner. Ugh!

Is that a Japanese Maple in your yard??? I am so jealous if it is! Love the new header for your site!!

beautiful leaves. i just moved back to an area where fall is an actual season and am enjoying the change of the leaves. i am in awe everytime i drive around town.

Autumn looks lovely in your part of the world : )

I'm jealous! It's 80* here in Texas. No fall foliage! Love your new banner!

mmmm....the new angry chicken fall header is so beautiful to my eyes! I am envious of your super kung fu blogger skills!
:)

Thanks for the autumn pics, here in Vermont the beautiful foliage has past, and now "gray days". Love your new "autumny" banner!

I love the new banner:)

Perdy banner!!!

beautiful pics!!! Love those Fall colors!

What I would give to have actual seasons here in Houston. It was like 89 and I was sweating up a storm with my kids at the park. Oh well, enjoy. I'll go crank on my AC again :)

i'm totally in love with that top photo!

Just spit chex mix across the table laughing at this!

I'm glad to see you still have Fall where you live. In NYC it's been unusually warm and the leaves aren't doing their usual thing - it's unnerving.
