After the weird non-summer we had, I'm not quite ready for fall, but here it is. And I can't complain after a fun day out at Oregon Heritage Farms and their yearly apple fest. Part of me still craves sun, even though I have never been a sun person. Good thing I am a soup person. And a sweater person.
- I have found a pattern to sew for the 1940s dress (see last post). I have it cut out in the most lovely black lightweight wool. Excitement!
- The new Tie One On theme is set and the gallery is up for the last theme, Aprons on Screen. There are some really wonderful submissions, thank you!
- I made and have been using (on myself and the girls) dry shampoo. It's awesome. I will post more about this this, but I can't tell you how handy it is to have. You gotta to try making some! We scented ours grapefruit and it's just wonderful. I didn't use the oatmeal becasue I was too lazy to grind it up, fyi.
