My children are true Oregonians. What rain? What wind? It's not cold (yes, it was) let's play on beach!
I knit this hat while we were there for the long weekend a few weeks ago. The pattern link and yarn info is here on my ravelry page. I did the version where you make a swatch and then measure the head it's going on and kind of just make your own pattern, which worked perfectly because I always have her head nearby to measure. I added the red heart with a duplicate stitch.
Unrelated:
- We went to Tony Starlight's to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary and had such a good time. We had seen the Stolen Sweets there before (who are outstanding) but had never seen The Tony Starlight Show before and it was so funny and silly, I can't recommend it enough. I also am the type of person that loves supper clubs, sing-a-longs, and just hamming it up, so this was all right up my alley.
- The Tie One On gallery is up for the Floral Fun theme and the new theme is set, please check it out and leave comments for these wonderful apron submissions.
- We are going to Beard's Papa in Beaverton this week, which just opened. This is a big deal. I will report back. The animated story of Beard's Papa is weird and awesome. We have never had them before. If you have, let me know.
