Lydia and I have been having a lot of fun doing crafts and going to field trips while her big sisters are dancing all day. Just one kid! I love being able to go at her speed with no interruptions. We have painted rocks many times before, but were inspired to do so again after seeing this wonderful tutorial over on the Postman's Knock.

I was listening to this interview on NPR with author Noah Charney about art forgery and was so fascinated. I have always been interested in forgery and crime in the art world. I really want to buy this book. I then clicked over to this review of a documentary about art forger Mark Landis called Art And Craft and as luck would have it, was able to stream the movie immediately on amazon prime. I love the internet and I love the movie! The girl's liked it too and it gave us a lot to talk about. It brings up all kinds of topics—art, ethics, mental illness, empathy. it's very good and the music is outstanding. I don't know of any of the musicians, but Pete and I were talking about how good it was throughout the film.
