I was looking around for a different craft and landed on these miniature books on you tube and had to make them. This is a tutorial that uses a PDF available for sale in her etsy shop, so it's not free, but the technique could be used on free mini book printables, of which there are many on pintrest. These were so fun for us to make and now I am wanting to make a mini bookshelf.
- I have so many things I want to try, I'm having a hard time keeping track. I ordered crepe paper for some Marie Antoinette inspired crafts and then found a beautiful book on making crepe paper flowers from the library, Paper to Petal: 75 Whimsical Paper Flowers to Craft by Hand, so now that's a thing. I want to have Sadie make some shrinky-dink charms of her own manga characters. I also would like to start a new sewing project. I still need to get a good start on the shawl I have started twice and frogged for various reasons.
- I am now watching the Great British Baking Show, the first season, and it's just so wonderful. I had so many people tell me to watch it and they were right. I just fell for all the bakers and their smiles and the vibe of the whole show.
- I'm in love with this concept and image-unused vintage postcards and unused vintage stamps, packaged together and ready to send.
- I now have a account on Instagram that is crafty-bloggy. I have a private account that is mostly of my children—a public account with my everyday silliness is long over due, so please come follow me! I have only few few photos right now, but will add it it often.
