I'm in a sewing jag right now. I have a shawl knitting WIP that I was working on but got the urge to use up all the precious fat quarters I had to make totes, small pouches, and purses. These are going in the gift bin, or I may try to sell them on etsy/instagram. I just like making them and playing with the different color combinations. I also need to clean out my stash a little bit.
Thanks for the book suggestions! I just started and finished The Keep, by Jennifer Egan which was neither funny nor stress-free, but I loved it and read it in 2 days. I really liked A Visit from the Goon Squad, which I read a few years ago, also by her. We are headed to the beach soon and I'll probably just grab what I see at the library.
Podcast-wise I have been a big fan of Dear Hank and John, and the Nerdist lately.
We can't stop watching this SNL skit. It gets funnier every time.
I'm working on some new facial products to add to my shop (very excited!) and I scheming a way to do a little pop-up sale here in Portland so you all can try before you buy and also not have to pay shipping. I just need to find a space. Stay tuned and if anyone knows of a place that would be down with this, please let me know.
