I took down our needlework wall and have been working on this plant wall for a few months. It's still evolving. The wood panels came from craft warehouse and I glued various items to the wood to make little homes for the airplants. The bottom panel has 3 test tubes I can use for single stems—or grasses in this case. I'm so happy with how this turned out, it's so fun to tinker with. I still might add some plants to the bottom panel. I mounted the orchid on the left, which was really easy and very satisfying.
We have had busy end-of-summer weekend. Oaks Park, a sleep over, picking up a child from overnight camp, baby sitting a 1 1/2 year old all day, and attending the last night of Faerieworlds, 2017. This gathering is so great, please search google images "faerieworlds" to see all the amazing costumes. This was all in the last 48 hours. It's still so hot here, summer won't quit, which is fine with me. I love fall, but as I get older, I really like the warm, and the light.
Okay, is there anyplace to buy audio books besides audible? I get them from our library, which is great, but has some limitations, and there are a ton for free (in that copyright infring-y way) on you tube, but anywhere else to buy them? I just hate the idea of paying a monthly fee at audible and having to buy the audio book. grrr.
