february theme-the mapron
oh-the mapron is finally here.Yes, for the February theme-make a "man apron" for the special guy in you life. Of course, boys of any age are eligible. this one is super cool.
as is this one gardening one from Mucky Hands. There are vintage inspirations here and here. You get the idea. Maybe it's a Valentine's gift? Make sure and give it to him early so he'll get the hint and make a special dinner for you. . .and if your recipient is 5 years old, well all the more fun!
And thanks kath for always doing my research for me-the links of the modern aprons are via red current links. My favorite apron stomping ground.
And the January gallery is up and looks amazing!! thanks so much for all the great submissions!!

ooooh I haven't participated before even though I have been meaning to. This might be the month! I made my dad a great BBQ apron for Christmas - does that count? Not sure of the rules here... I have been meaning to make something for my son Jack too. Anyway great theme this month! :)

The second vintage inspiration "here" - the blue striped ones with the red rickrack my parents were given as a wedding present in 1965. She still has them.
