November-apron and a recipe!
The holidays are coming on strong and I thought it would be nice to not tack on another project, but take a break, share some love, and just have some fun. . .
So, here's the deal for November's theme; You have to take a photo of yourself in an apron. You don't have to make the apron. Use a vintage one, one you already made, whatever is handy, just put it on for the photo. Then e-mail, along with the apron jpeg, a favorite holiday recipe. Cookies or cakes, savory or sweet, some sort of cherished family favorite. So the December gallery will be of sassy apron wearers sharing recipes for all to enjoy. Sound like fun!? I think so! Perfect for all you non sewers or anyone who hasn't had a chance to contribute before. . .
Okay, please make the recipe directions as brief as possible. I would like to add this all in flickr, so even if you post the recipe on you blog, e-mail me the recipe as well.
Then December we will take off altogether, and I will post the next theme January. And I am working on the Halloween gallery now-great submissions, thank you!

Oh, this IS a kind and thoughtful November theme. You'll have a nice collection of recipes and a look at all of your wonderful fellow apron nuts. I'm giving thanks!

Oh goody, I get to play! I've just decided that I want to start making aprons, but don't even have a sewing machine yet. But wearing one? I can handle that!

Yay, I can finally get back in!
I so wanted to participate in the October theme, but all I had to offer was a red riding hood from two years ago. I didn't want to be the cheater that busted up TOO.
