The Jan/Feb gallery is up!

It's up! you can see all the amazing aprons right here on flickr. Okay, you guys are amazing! I say this every time, but really, I am so moved by these homemade aprons and the photos and the stories behind them all. I sit here with a goofy grin on my face the whole time I do these galleries, so thank you all so very much for participating. This lovely photo is from Leslie.

Okay-some Tie One On notes:

And I mean all this in the nicest way, so I don't want anyone to feel bad about anything, okay? It's all good, I just need to clarify some things.

-To submit your entries for each theme, please attach an actual jpeg with your e-mail (and a blog link if you have one) this makes it way easier for me to set up the whole gallery. Also, if I have linked incorrectly or have goofed at all, please e-mail me and I will fix it pronto.

-You don't have to have a blog to participate! If you would like me to post an e-mail instead, I can do that, just let me know. No info is fine too...

-Some aprons are coming with links to etsy shops or store shops where they are for sale. I can't use these links on flickr. Flickr is very clear about not allowing links directly to items for sale (you can see more about this here) so if your etsy shop/other shop link has been left out, this is why.

-and along this same vein... I have been getting a few more e-mails/submissions regarding the selling of aprons and although I think this is brilliant and support it fully (craft and making $$ and all that) this Tie One On apron project (what I show on flickr) is really about providing a supportive place to show and tell, not a place to advertise items for sale. (which I can't do anyway, see above.) I will happily look at aprons that are for sale to feature on the Tie On One blog however, and would love to link to shops selling aprons/apron patterns. . . . Does this makes sense? Hope so.

Thank you!! You all are rad!

Great line-up and wonderful entries: you are an inspiration, Amy, and the whole tie-one-on thing is so much good clean non-commercial fun.

This is a great site. I love aprons and all they represent. I'll send a submission for the rickrack theme!

I'm new to your blog, but this sounds like fun. I'm working on an apron with rick rack (don't you just love that word). What a wonderful idea -- sharing everyones apron!!!
