what is this about?

  • make aprons to show and tell! every few months there is a different theme. you make the apron, e-mail me the photo (a jpeg) with your info (like a blog link), and then I will add it to the gallery at the end of the month. sound fun? yup!: please submit newly created aprons. not purchased or existing vintage ones.

New Theme for Tie One On—Aprons on Screen

I am so excited by this new theme! I have been watching a lot of period films and tv shows lately and have been so excited by the aprons that appear—I thought it would be a fun theme. This one is from Downton Abbey.

I sure hope you have fun with this theme. I'm going to give us 2 months, so these will be due September 5th. Just send me your jpegs and a description (naming your movie or tv show inspiration and image if you have one) and a blog link if you want.

Tip! A handy way to search for images of aprons on screen is to use google. Search the movie name and  use "images", on the search bar instead of "web".
