Tie One On is going to take a little break from August-early September. I will be back with a new theme sometime in Mid-September.

The Spring Showers Gallery is up!

The gallery is up, and it's wonderful! As I type this we are having a rainstorm in Portland, as usual, and I am sure wishing for that Spring sun. Isn't this submission from Beverly so sweet?! Please take a look at all the submissions and be sure to leave comments.

Okay, I am still taking suggestions for the next theme. I will also talk to my husband, who has come up with some really goods ones before, although I usually don't use them. They often involve 1970s tv shows.

New Theme—Spring Showers

Okay then! Spring is coming!

I have been loving greys and yellows together for a long time and wanted to use it for a theme. So I bring you Spring Showers, mixing both grey cloudy skies and yellow spring time sun. Now, you don't have to use grey or yellow in your apron, do whatever means Spring Showers to you, but I thought using the color combination would be fun. Please feel free to interpret the theme anyway you want to.

These aprons will be due May 1st, just send me your jpeg and the blog link you would like me to add, if you have one.

New Theme—Floral Fun!

This next theme is anything to do with flowers—Floral Fun!

I like to use up what I have on hand, especially after the excess of the holidays, so hopefully this theme will help you all go through your stash and pull out any floral fabrics you might be saving for a special project. 

You can go in many directions with this theme— a floral main fabric, a flower on a pocket, or a non-floral fabric with a floral bias binding. That would be so cute.

These apron images are due March 1st, so you will have plenty of time and by then we will be looking towards Spring! It's seems pretty far away right now.

The gallery is up and they all look so pretty, thank you! This sweet and sassy apron right here is by Emily. So cute!

I hope everyone has a lovely holiday season and new year. I will be back with a new there after January 1st. I know I have said this many many times, but it warms my heart every time I get an apron submission. I love knowing these are being made and are floating around out there, to be passed down. Thank you all so much for participating. Tie One On has over 1000 aprons in the all galleries combined. Amazing!
