This is my most prized vintage cookbook in my collection handed down to me from Great-Grandma Nina. I never had the pleasure of meeting Nina, but apparently she was a wonderful woman who was hard of hearing most of her life, had a penchant for bingo, and thought that this girl on the Jello book looked EXACTLY like her. According to my mom, it did!
these are such amazing illustrations. I love the mushrooms. And look at that Jello! I hate the stuff, but I wish I liked it so I could eat these . .
I also have Jello molds-they are so pretty. I have a glass one almost exactly like this one.
And look! Nina is showing us how to do our daily exercises to work off all that Jello! All cookbooks should have exercises-wait, no, I take that back. Bad idea.
