Well it's been a big week here in Portland. Mt. St. Helen's blew up, Portland, known for our rainy weather, is now in a drought, and apparently, according to the local paper, we are in the height of a fondue craze. Who knew??
I have never tried fondue, not at fondue restaurant. . it seems like a lot of mouth burning to me. Also, I don't eat meat-so that leaves bread and dessert-which sounds good, don't get me wrong. But with the toddler and baby and hot oil and cheese and all that.
I was talking to my brother about this new trend spun by the local media with nothing better to write about and he informed me one of his good buddies "will not eat fondue with another guy." I think this is the funniest thing I've heard all month. I don't even want to know the details. Let's just leave it at that.
