It's really hard to photograph pants. We went to anthropologie this weekend and I noticed all the short pants. I have a lot of pants and they all look the same as this pair here. just different shades of army green and thought, I could make some short pants! I realize these look dorky, but I swear they are not. They hit just below the knees. I don't wear shorts. A personal rule of mine, and anything at the knee or higher is a short in my book.
This endeavor went pretty well. The crafting marks against it are that I was planning to actually photograph them on my body, similar to this fine post here-but not only had I not shaved my legs for a long time, a very long time, I also had no sun and a shoe dilemma. But the real clincher was that I realized when I was all done that the button fly was missing 3 out of the 4 buttons. This is because I this dumb personality trait where I only pee when it's the last possible moment before I explode, so my pant buttons take a lot of stress. Why I do this, I don't know. It's annoying to myself and others around me I am sure. And I love it that I have time to sew a flippin quilt in my "spare time" but instead of sewing 3 buttons on a pair on pants I stash them in the back of my dresser for 6 months. nutty nut-bar.
