I have started a very official mailorder club group on flickr, so you can take a look at some completed projects and swap tips, ideas, and gossip about mailorder legends (like all the inappropriate things Blanche, from Baker City, said at the mailorder summer picnic last year, that punch was loaded!)
oh my good lord go see what super eggplant is up to: a monthly candy swap called candyswappers. wow! this is such a cool idea (and won't help my recent sugar intake reduction at all)
also, Jessica has started a cool quilt project. It's not a quilt along, but a modern block swap, in a Denyse Schmidt style and looks very cool and fun. You make 10 blocks and get ten blocks. I love this idea so much, grammie did this all the time a few years back and I have quilts from her swaps and they are so cool. I am over committed to the point of stupidity right now, so I will have to miss this one,sniff, sure wish I could join up and hope she does another one (no pressure, Jessica!)
I hope everyone has had a chance to listen to craftlog's wonderful interview over at craftypod. It made me smile big and made my day. And, how flippin cool is craftypod? I love it.
