Sadie's fall jacket is done. I am so excited to have this finished so I can start on some other projects. I have had this cut out for about 2 weeks, but was out of town, etc. and I just hate having half finished sewing projects, it makes me itchy. This green plaid is a soft mini corduroy. The lining is a double faced quilted cotton flannel. It got all the fabric on sale, it's all 100% cotton, and I think it probably cost under $15 total. Very happy about this. The lining fabric really fluffed up when I pre-washed it. Details photos here.
It's a Hansel and Gretel jacket, the covered buttons have the kids faces and a hedgehog in the pockets I made felt backed toys attached with ribbon--a gingerbread house and a tree from the forest. Superbuzzy fabric, of course.
and here's some soft corduroy cozy pants. nice and wide--you can see them on her here.
Some details (which are on sightly helpful):
-The outer jacket fabric is from Fabric Depot (local shop) and the lining was from Joann's. I have no info on them, however.
-The jacket pattern was heavily modified from Sadie's jacket last year. I hesitate to even link to it as a source because I altered pretty much everything about it. But it's where I started.
-The pants are long a version of these cropped pants I made Sadie this summer.
