Here's one risk of having a cutting garden. She was incredibly patient with the petal removal, thank god. I thought we were going to have to get out the scissors.
A few things:
-All summer I have been eating pluots, thinking they were a fancy French plum, I don't know why. (I make stuff up in my head and later relay it as fact.Terrible trait of mine.) They are, in fact, a hybrid of a apricot and a plum--food of the Gods, I say!
- In a bizarre twist of fate, a drive-thru pizza place is opening less than two blocks from our house. I actually wished for this, in my blog, months back. Amazing! That was when I was eating everything in site and blaming it on my baby. I hope it is horrible pizza, or I could be in trouble. Also, a drive-thru pizza place that's a 2 minute walk from our front door is sort of silly to get excited about. . .cause I could walk there, severely minimizing the thrill of it being a drive-thru. . . but still.
- Has anyone else tried making A Blurb book from your blog besides Amanda? It keeps crashing on me and I want one (and got a coupon for 1/2 off) but I am lazy/impatient and don't want to monkey with it if it's a horrible pain.
- Thank god Pete works in an office, not at home, because he actually has co-workers, live people to talk to, unlike me, and can show me stuff like this. I am now adopting "mother-flipper" into my vocabulary.
