My favorite needlework shop of all time, The Twining Thread, is closing it's doors. I am so so sad. Joey, the wonderful owner, has taught me so much over the last two years and her selection is outstanding. She is selling everything 50% off, so I bought up a storm, while feeling quite vulture-ish. 
If you ever wanted to try needlework or if you need some supplies-order now!! She only carries the best and you will never see prices like this again for this quality of merchandise. The books and hoops, threads and needles, hand-dyed linens and crewelwork, are all to die for.
