The girls and I were in Chinatown a few weeks back having Dim Sum with Grammie and wandered into this little shop and found a book of paper cuts. There are 12, loose, ready to hang—all of Tigers, to celebrate the Year of the Tiger. They are just lovely.
I can't find any just like this online, but there are some nice ones here.
It was a big weekend around here, with Valentine's' Day, the Chinese New Year, Oregon's 151st b-day, and the Olympics. It was a crazy mixed up stew of activities in our house. The Olympics opening ceremonies were crazy! I cried when k.d. lang sang—I just love her voice so much, and that song always makes me cry.

- I have posted the Tie One On book giveaway, for those of you who play along and make an apron. You have until March 1st to get your aprons done. The book giveaway this time is Mason Dixon Knitting their first book, now in paperback. Kay and Ann have made a video to commemorate this release, and I bow down to their insane creative genius. You can watch the video here. It's Grey Gardens spoof. Unreal!
