These are from over the summer (saved before the deleted photo episode) and were part of a very long dinosaur theme we were working on, which was really fun. I don't have the exploding paper-mâché volcano to show you, unfortunately. There were a lot of books, games, drawings, research, digs, and role play for this theme. It was a huge learning experience for me, too. So much has changed in paleontology since I was in school. In a scientifically inaccurate yet imaginative move, the girls suggested we print and cut out a tiny version of themselves to place in the dioramas. So we did.
Related by theme but in a different vein (not for kids), I am greatly amused by Dinosaur Comics which depicts the same frames everyday, but with different text. It's one of those things that gets funnier after you read at least 3 of them.
