It's sort of getting warmer here. Kind of. I am excited to try these new patterns, Ginger and Violet from our local talent, Colette Patterns. They are available directly from Colette Patterns online but if you are in Portland, you can also find them at Bolt, and get some fabric at the same time. I promise I wll not sew either of these pieces in navy. That's my new rule. I have a dumb amount of clothes in navy. So much so, any new pieces would never be noticed, even by me. I'm thinking the blouse first in a dove grey or lilac.
fake hair update:
Randomly, I can not stop watching these tutorials on using linkies for inserting fake hair highlights over at DoctoredLocks. What the?! I need some. I think these would be perfect for the girls using no chemicals and all. I know I can just buy a colored clip-in extension too. I have always dyed my streaks, but these seem very cool and much easier for quick mood changes. I know this is how the feather extensions I keep seeing all over town are attached as well. I also am now wearing my second set of fake bangs (I have named her Jenny, she's a darker brown and a bit longer, more of a beatnik) and we go out quite often. Usually on weekends.
