I knit this cowl during the holidays. It knitted up super-fast, which was swell. It was going to be a gift, but I got quite attached to it. It also has quite a few mistakes, which is no big deal, but it feels a bit shy so it's better sticking with me. All the info is over here on Ravelry. I wear it about 10 times more than I thought I would.
It's been raining like crazy here. There's serious flooding too, and before that snow. The heavy rain and flooding is worrisome (we are in a flood zone) so I haven't been sleeping well. I got up at 4AM yesterday morning and watched Bill Cunningham New York which is a documentary I had heard wonderful things about—and it is so good. I am so glad I watched it. I had no idea what to expect and it confirmed again why I love documentaries. It's on netflix (instant!) and there's some information about it here, including a trailer. It has nothing to do with flooding, but rain ponchos do come up.
