Shop talk!
I have received a few questions about using my facial oils during the day. In my shop, I suggest using them at night, but they work great during the day, too—but I'd also reccommend a sunscreen. For a long time, I used a natural cream moisturizer (instead of my oils) made with a non-chemical SPF during the day because I was having a hard time finding a facial sunscreen I liked that didn't use chemical blockers. I found one a few years ago and have been using it ever since and love it. It's made by Mychelle. At the time, it seemed like it was the only non-chemical sunscreen out there that was fine enough and smooth enough to not feel like white paste in my skin, which is what most of the non-chemical sunscreens feel like. Also, my skin never reacts badly to it. I buy it at New Seasons, usually I wait for a sale. They might have it at Whole Foods, too.
So, most mornings I use my facial oil, (after I have washed my face) and then I roll on my eye oil, and then use the sunscreen before I put on my makeup. Some of the foundation I use has sunscreen in it, but I change my make-up products often, so this way I know I have it covered. I also think I need a bit more sunscreen than what I use for a typical foundation amount, which is so small.
I haven't tried any of the new non-chemical sunscreens out there for faces, have you all? What do you like to use?

And my birthday! Well, it was sort of horrible, but I made it through and am thinking about having a make-up birthday in a few weeks. The back pain is much better, but I just was in a bad place—my body, and my mind. That was the hardest part, my mind! I know it was part back pain/ stress/ fatigue and throw in some intense worry brain, gah! But I am feeling better and trying not to feel bad about feel bad. I think this is key.
