I found this very short video on making a chile mocha and it looked delicious. It's much more photo-styled than my version, but whatever. I had no whipped cream. It was still delicious. I think the spice mix they they listed would be really good but I made a different one, using theirs as a guide. Mine was spicy! I think it is perfect, but Pete thinks it might have a little too much heat.
Here's my simplified version:
2 1/2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon chipotle powder
1/4 teaspoon clove
I added 1/4 tsp of this mixture to 1/2 cuphot milk that had a small handful of chocolate chips melted in it and then topped it with a little water and the instant espresso (I used instant coffee, a heaping teaspoon) Delicious!
