We are madly making holiday gifts around here, it's so fun to paint, glue, assemble, and pack. These unpainted wooden bowls were turned into little salt cellars with some pink Himalayan salt and a little spoon. They look nice unpainted, but I can't resist painting wood.
We have been going out a lot this year—ballets, musicals, theater and choir performances. Last night we we took our parents to see It's a Tony Starlight's Christmas and it was so fun. I had not been there since they moved and it's a great space and was a great show.
- There are a few more holiday musts I need to get to. Like baking one of my all time favorite cookies.
- Also, I have had very little time in the evenings to cook so Pete and I have been taking turns making these one-pan dinnners. So easy!
- The girls showed me this and I laughed really hard
- And not for kids but so very very funny (and maybe for teens who can hang with mature content) is this Ruining History piece on The Bizarre Life of Johnny Appleseed.
