October Theme! Apron as a costume!
Aprons as a costume!! I try to stay away from the obvious themes around the holidays (this one being for Halloween) but aprons are the perfect easy costume accessory, and it seems just about every old-timey character has one. I realize this is true mostly for girls costumes, but then again, it's girls/women who mostly wear aprons, so there you go. . .
Not intended just for kids (sexy-BO Peep? french maid? Actually don't the "sexy" costumes just freak you out? So never mind..) But my point is, you can jump on this even if you don't have a kid handy to tie an apron onto. . .that is, if you like dressing up. I dressed up more before I had the girls, what is up with that? I need to wear a costume this year for sure.
