Oh, we are mad about plaid! Seriously, plaid is so flippin' popular right now and I love it to bits—it seems like the perfect choice for the next theme, which will be for the September 1st gallery. I have always associated plaid with Fall, so there you go. Seems weird to be thinking about it in the heat of July, but I know it's not all that far away.
So, the theme is Plaid, any plaid fabric you want to make into an apron. Or try just a plaid pocket, or a sash—it's up to you. I love homespuns like this one here from Cia's Palette, but please use whatever you like. Have fun!! You have 2 months. I need the jpegs e-mailed to me by September 1st.
There will be a book giveaway, chosen from the people who play along, just like for the last two themes. I will let you know what book it is soon.
The July Pie Makin' Apron gallery is coming along—I will need a few more days to finish it, in between the pyrotechnics happening around here over the holiday weekend. I promise I won't start any fires. You all are gonna freak out when you see all the pie recipes.
