what is this about?

make aprons to show and tell! every few months there is a different theme. you make the apron, e-mail me the photo (a jpeg) with your info (like a blog link), and then I will add it to the gallery at the end of the month. sound fun? yup!: please submit newly created aprons. not purchased or existing vintage ones.

We are still in summer vacation mode over here and taking a computer break (of sorts), but I needed to pop in and tell you apron makers about the book giveaway for the current Circus Theme. It's this lovey new book, Sew Retro: 25 Vintage-Inspired Projects for the Modern Girl & A Stylish History of the Sewing Revolution, by Judi Ketteler and it's full of vintage-y sewing projects rich with history and sass—it's really a pleasure to look and and use. I really think you all will love it.

One copy will be given away to a lucky participant (chosen by a random number generator) after the gallery is up. And just a reminder, the aprons are due by September 5th (or 6th) and I will have the gallery up shortly after then. Good luck and thanks for all your submissions so far.

And just as a reminder, I don't confirm the apron submissions, sorry! I just get them and then save them until I put up the gallery, so just wait, and if yours is missing, you can let me know.
