Hello and happy almost Autumn!
The days are already getting cooler here (I think Portland had the shortest Summer ever) and I am already thinking about soups, apple pies, hot coco, and apple cider. And of course one needs an Autumnal apron to wear while making all these treats! (Apologies to my Australian and New Zeland friends who I know are just finishing apple season).
So, Similar to Peppermint Candy, the new theme, Apple Cider can be as literal or as abstract as you like. I'm thinking cozy apple colors with some browns, oranges, reds, and light greens, possibly some plaids, a homespun fabric would be lovely, as would some old-timey calicos. And of course, an apple motif could make an appearance—or not.
I want to give everyone enough time for this, so you can wear it for Thanksgiving if you like. These are due by December 1st.
I am finishing up the Circus Apron gallery now, it's wonderful! I hope to have it done by the weekend along with the randomly selected book giveaway winner.
