what is this about?

  • make aprons to show and tell! every few months there is a different theme. you make the apron, e-mail me the photo (a jpeg) with your info (like a blog link), and then I will add it to the gallery at the end of the month. sound fun? yup!: please submit newly created aprons. not purchased or existing vintage ones.

The Aprons on Screen gallery is up! Reading about the research and the thoughts about these aprons was so wonderful—thank you all so much. There weren't as many submissions for this theme, but the ones that came it really touched my heart. Please comment and take a look at this fabulous gallery. This amazing apron here is by Terri and inspiried by the film Cold Mountain.

The new theme is set, Autumn Leaves, and I was just looking online for fabric ideas—there are so many out there!

new theme! Autumn Leaves

Thank you all for your submissions for the Aprons on Screen theme, I will get the gallery up very soon.

The next apron theme is Autumn Leaves. Please have fun with this! I am thinking apple cider, apple pie, tress, leaves, nature, and the coziness of the kitchen. They will be due December 5th. I love fall baking. In fact, I just heard the timer for breakfast muffins right now. They are done!
